Dr. Robin Deuber
AI in HCI & Robotics
POSTDOC ETHAbout
Robin Deuber is an applied computer science researcher at ETH Zürich working at the intersection of multimodal machine learning, time-series modeling, computer vision, and intelligent interactive systems. His work focuses on building robust AI systems that move from research prototypes into practical deployment, with particular strength across the full machine learning pipeline — from data collection and feature engineering to model development and on-device implementation. With experience spanning collaborations with Bosch Lab, Stanford University, and robot.com, Robin combines strong academic grounding with an applied mindset shaped by real-world research and technology transfer. He is especially interested in how AI can improve human–computer interaction and robotics by enabling systems to perceive complex environments, reason across heterogeneous data sources, and respond in ways that are useful, efficient, and scalable. His work reflects a clear commitment to translating technically rigorous research into systems that matter in practice.
