About

Dr. Robert Jakob is Founder and Director of the ETH Agentic Systems Lab, Lecturer and Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich. His research focuses on applied agentic AI, multimodal LLMs, time-series language models (TSLMs), and AI-driven business transformation. He completed his PhD at ETH Zürich, where his work focused on applied machine learning for churn prediction and prevention in digital health. He has also conducted research at the Statistical Reinforcement Learning Lab at Harvard University, the Singapore-ETH Centre at the National University of Singapore, and the Center for Technology and Behavioral Health at Dartmouth. His research has been published in leading computer science venues, including ICLR, ICML, AAAI, and CHI, as well as in journals such as Computers in Human Behavior, JMIR, and Annals of Behavioral Medicine.
